Many many thanks CV60 for the comprehensive explanation saves me some heartburn as I now have a better grasp of the situation even if the difference in amounts of pictures is confusing as anything at least the amounts you point to in your posts correspond to what I have I will continue to read up and find out how to incorporate the others
Again thanks for taking the time to help out!
Regards
Mats
If you want to incorporate other images, here is what I would do. Note, I am not recommending this, I am simply giving advice on how to incorporate multiple image packages:
1) Completely empty out all images in you CDWB and DB3000 folders:
2) Load all the images that are
not from the "Accurate Image" package that you want to use.
The "Accurate Image" images are the ones located on the WS downloads page located here: https://www.warfaresims.com/?page_id=1876.
a) Consider making a copy of the DB3000 and CWDB folders at this point an putting them somewhere on a thumbdrive or hard drive. This will help you re-establish your non-Accurate Image package images when an update to the "Accurate Image" package is made. As this happens 3-4 times/year it will save you some effort.
3) Load the "Accurate Image" from
https://www.warfaresims.com/?page_id=1876, and allow it to overwrite any duplicate images.
What you now will have is the complete "Accurate Image" package, supplemented with whatever additional images you selected in step 2.
a) If you want the secondary images, go to
https://warfaresims.slitherine.com/DBIm ... Images.zip and get them. As noted above, these are not necessarily perfectly accurate in terms of exact time frame, model, or nationality of a particular platform, but are included to show different aspects of a platform or just because they are nice photos.
4) If you ever want to get rid of the secondary images, just do a search for "_t" in your DB3000 and CWDB folders. That will call up the secondary images. Delete all the images that search finds, thereby removing the secondary images. If you just want to get rid of the line drawings, search for "_t5", and do the same. However a few secondary photos (not line drawings) are also designated "_t5", so you will have to manually scan and remove the line drawings using this method.
