6:51:30 AM - Lua script execution error: KeraLua Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.



Hi fellas,

Above is an error message I got today after trying to play the reconfigured Broken Shield 300, after the fixes were made to correct Lua error regarding downed pilot recovery as well as the ones for Air Base Armory magazine error.

Wondering if someone could help explain to me if I this is no big deal or if I have a larger memory issue going on with my system or what.

Any help would be great.

Hi. This error is random and has nothing to do with your system or the scenario itself. It's a problem "under the hood" which is worked upon.

When it happens it will generally screw up some LUA scripts and will then reset itself without further complications. There isn't much you can do in this case, but you can try to save at this problematic spot, close CMO and launch from the same save again - sometimes it will fix this corrupted memory problem for a while.

I have no idea how much work it took to develop this scenario, but I find myself "playing with weapons and such" that I am familiar with from my time in the military, as such I am not nearly as familiar with weapons, units from other countries. I think it's awesome that I'm learning about units from Israel due to playing with this scenario. I am really enjoying the challenge, and I wanted to pass along thanks!
