Scenario #2 Revenge sunk Final Score Triumph 1600

Post by pandoraefretum »

There's something wrong with this mission: Here are my observations

So I played NI Scenario #2 Goblin hunt and escort Revenge to its Patrol area
Some Soviet sub had Missiles and eventually took out my best 2 Warships
HMS Matapan could not sink a Soviet merchant spy boat because it ran out of ammo
I set up patrols to destroy Soviet subs which were eventually successful
I got 0 points for the Revenge arriving at its Patrol area... why was I not rewarded?
Revenge got sunk shortly after mission completion, but my score finished at 1600 Triumph (Yet Revenge was listed on my side's losses). Bewildered.

Did I get something wrong ? What do I need to check ?
Running CMANO v1.15 build 1009.31.2 with NI enabled via registration (not the standalone CMANO for NI). Another thing's just dawned on me ... how do I get the background videos to play ?
(I don't want to install the standalone version... (seems a waste of space if I already have Cmano)

And I gave scenario #2 another go tonight. Enjoyed it a lot and I guess it's fair to say it works and is well put together.

This time I only lost the Leander, that Missile sub usually pops up fairly close to it.
(and the Leander defended itself as well as it could for as long as it could). When the Seacat needed reloading it was a critical moment with incoming...

My score finished at 2650. I should have called in the ASW patrol sooner to deal with the Missile sub...I understand the Matapan (which detected a mine then promptly hit it to suffer minor damage) has decent ASW sonar and helps attacking units.
