I've been looking forward to have the time to upgrade my CMO version, but it told me I had an incompatible version of CMO installed. I uninstalled CMO, with the intent to reinstall it fresh, but now the installer returns the message, "Setup has detected an incompatible version of Command: Modern Operations installed. Please uninstall Command: Modern Operations before restarting this installation setup." So I click on the "uninstall" button, and it does nothing.

I need help reinstalling. Something is not right.

PM'd you a solution, but it's still pending in my outbox, maybe your pm box is full and you may have to delete a few.

I have a same problem to re-install CMO v1.05 B1307. I can't uninstall older versions remnants.
May I ask KnightHawk75, what is "pm box" and where is that?

The update installer requires you to be on the latest remastered version. I have already wrote a detailed post here which i think may be similar to what you are experiencing:

Does the uninstall button open a new window for you to uninstall the previous version? If you do that, the installer will uninstall what is needed from the incorrect version, and apply the remaster.

Stuff support doesn't like me telling people but gets the problem resolved without jumping though hoops.

I have just had this exactly as described and I was pulling my hair out. I had completely deleted CMO, searched the harddrive for remnants, checked the registry and there was no trace of it to be found, but it kept coming up saying the version I has was incomptatible.

The solution I found was to install version V1.02 and then over top of that V1.03, both I had found on the harddrive of my PC.

I then tried to install the latest version, it told me my CMO was incompatible, it uninstalled it and then it installed the latest version with no issues
