Event types

Trying to add a bit of suspense to a scenario I'm tinkering with. Ferrying A/C to a small forward base - using allied Tankers, fantastic feature - and they are getting there in small groups to form a BARCAP. What I would like to do is put very limited stocks of A2A weaponry in the magazine at the forward base and then have several Transport AC arrive and slowly build-up the magazines. All this while there is a fight for air superiority - so the munitions stocks are going down fast and if you lose one transport AC your in real trouble.

I don't think the event editor supports this type of action - to add to magazine stocks. If I have missed something, please let me know.

I tried to teleport an Ammo pad to the base but that didn't seem to work, the event did not fire. Even if it did, would the base use the ammo on the pad if it isn't grouped with the base?

What did happen is that when the Transport arrived, its cargo became a new magazine. Perhaps if we had editable cargo this would work well.

Nice idea! The solution with teleporting ammo pads might still work. Try de-grouping the whole airbase, and then re-grouping it with the new ammo pad, and see if the additional ammo shows up as stores.

You'd have to add this to the scenario description, so the player has to do it every time a transport plane arrives. Don't have CMANO here at work so I can't test it myself right now.

Unfortunatly the ammo pad did not actualy teleport, its still at its original location. The result of the Trasport arriving was generic cargo being piled at the base, which is a great feature in itself, just not quite what I was looking for.
