What a wonderful world.... it would be a shame if combat operations would occur anywhere near populated cities. [:)]

blh42, thanks. This is another really cool add-on. It's a big time-saver, too, not having to look up locations, etc. So it will come in very handy.

There's no rush, but could you do these (US and World) for the Cold War database, too? As I understand it, they only work with one database or the other, not both.

Again, thanks.

For those of us on the left hand side of the learning curve .... once downloaded, to which folder does one extract them to?

To the ImportExport folder, preferably on a subfolder of their own (better organized).

Thank you.

I suspected that was where it was headed, but I didn't know you could simply create a subfolder on your own and the game would recognize it.

You can make subfolders in the scenario folder as well, to organize scenarios. Just in case you were wondering :)

Quick question...is there a list of the country abbreviations? Some of them are pretty obvious, but I'm trying to find the Solomon Islands (in the World Airports .inst files) and I'm stumped! :)

EDIT: Duh! Never mind. It's just the standard international abbreviations, listed in many places, like this site...

I'm trying to import single cities for the UK and France. I can only get all the cities by ticking the country box. If I highlight the cities I want in the RH window and press import nothing happens. Is it possible install only a selection per country.
Rene Descartes. I drink therefore I am. There was an error in the original translation from the French.

Is this just for scenario designers? Or is there a benefit here for people strictly playing CMANO (such as the databases themselves)?

If mostly an efficiency for anybody designing a scenario and not required for game play.

The idea is that builders just spend the time once to build a particular airbase, port etc (cost 100's of clicks) and then once saved to an import file they can use it again in any other scenario at the cost of 1-3 clicks.

Thanks

Mike
