Hello, 2 questions.

Is there a warplan Editor manual available?

Is it possible to create another category for the units? Example I would like to build cavalery divisons at warplan pacific instead of only cavalary corps. Or mechanized divisons for the Russians instead of only mech corps.

There is (or was) a halfhearted PDF manual, but I'm not sure where I got it. Not at that computer, presently.

You can't create a, say, "buildable" cavalry division unless you sacrife something else; the cavalry corps for instance. But it is possible to have cavalry corps with only 10 strength maximum placed in the reinforcement qeue. That would more or less make them divisions. Those can't be bought, however.

Well, I think when Alvaro Sousa programmed the game, he of course also determined the categories of the individual branches of arms and their unit sizes. It would certainly be easy for him to install additional "slots". Possibly even blank ones.

If you find the manual by accident, please post it. I always wonder why somebody is offering an editor without a manual.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Matrix\WarPlan\Manuals\Scenario Modding and Creation.pdf

#1 Creating a manual is far more time consuming than people think.
#2 Almost no one mods the game at this level. I can think of less than 10 people of the 1000's of players that really want to mod the game at this scale.
#3 Mostly players change a statistic or two which is easy enough to figure out.
#4 The UI to construct the editor is incredibly time consuming and to properly do it as I would like would require me hiring a UX designer which would cost 1/2 my profits for the game and considerable time.

The editor is harder than SC3 to learn because there is more information. Just so you know. But if you want questions answered feel free to post.
