SOLVED - WPP V1.00.04 Beta 3 - Raider mode exploit

Thanks to YueJin who explained it to me. I would like to report this problem. This is applicable both to WPE and to WPP. It must be linked to the engine itself.

And, for me, this is leading to exploits.
I am moving this fleet in Fleet mode (haha!).

So, the first fleet is in Fleet mode. And, I can't change it from the interface.

I am changing it to Raider mode. And I am moving it in the stack of the first fleet.

The first fleet is now in Raider mode instead of Fleet mode. And I can select the Undo button.

Thus, I am back to the initial position. And, this time, I am moving the third fleet in the stack of the second fleet, the one that has done a naval invasion.
The rule is that a fleet, performing a naval invasion, automatically goes from Raider to Fleet mode if it was in Raider mode.

Same exploit, bug, the second fleet is now in Raider mode instead of Fleet mode. And I can select the Undo button again.

Thus, the final situation. The first and second fleets are in Raider mode. The third fleet is ready to do something else, either in Fleet mode, either in Raider mode.

From my point of view, when a fleet is moving into a naval stack that is in Fleet mode, the end result is that the naval stack must be in Fleet mode.
And this, whatever the mode of the fleet moving into the naval stack.

Now the question is when a fleet in Fleet mode is moving into a fleet in Raider mode. Should we change the ending naval stack to Fleet mode also? I think so too.

There is an exploit because the stack takes on the setting (Fleet or Raider) of the last unit to move to the hex. Doesn't matter size or number. Last ship sets the mode for the whole stack. Gotten bit by this often enough to know it happens.[:)]

Needs to be changed to where the first unit entering the hex sets the mode and any additional ships moving to that hex switch to that mode.

Problem (and exploit) is that you can use this to move in one mode then switch it to another mode.

For example, if you use a unit to resupply a beach it automatically goes to Fleet mode making it vulnerable to attacks. By moving one last unit after that in Raider mode you can switch the stack back to Raider mode.

Other possible uses is to move in one mode to "see" what the situation is (like whether there are a lot of enemy around) and then switch its mode if it isn't the best one for the situation by moving a last unit in a new mode.

No, if I have a naval stack of 2 subs in Raider mode and I am adding a third sub in Raider mode to this stack, I clearly hope that my stack of 3 subs will be in Raider mode.

Fleet into Raider = fleet
Raider into raider = raider
Raider into fleet = fleet
