When I zoom in on the map, the grid line disappears. How do I solve this problem? I want to keep it on the map all the time.

You can use a low map detail distance graphics setting or switch to the 'paper' map mode (below the minimap).

Do you feel that these grid lines are very important? At the moment we don't have them at all in the sequel engine.

I remember in both TACOPS4.0 and FlashpointGermany before, the square area (grid line) was very important for deploying low-level units. It played a crucial positioning and planning role for the brigade commander in the fire and maneuver command process.
How could a map without coordinate lines on a professional military application software? I hope to see it in my next work.
Btw for AB2, I hope to add a custom unit icon color feature, which means that players can play OPFOR (USSR) in red, orange, and so on. :D

I feel like the grid lines are very important as well as all the map marker tools. The grid lines help me estimate engagement ranges, speed of advance etc... at a glance as opposed to displaying individual unit ranges (which I find overwhelming at scale). I kind of hope that map marking will be expanded upon to use nato control measure symbols (implemented via the db so modders can add their own) and layers (like photoshop). The reason for all of this is that the majority of my time is spent creating battle plans before actually starting the game. Most of the time my screen looks something like this at the very least.Image

Also a fun pipe dream would be to integrate control measure symbology into unit orders themselves which in turn could be used to create detailed but vague enough plans for the AI in custom scenarios.
