Hi folks, I'm confused that when playing with the new update with FoW on I can see side B information under Force Status.
I can't see side B info under the Strength Report tab. Why can I see this - or I do not understand something (quite possible).

Force Status tab always shows those estimates at that abstracted level. It is a new feature.

Strength Report, depending on your FOW settings, may or may not show the details from the opposing side. This tab is more or less the old Strenght Report, albeit formatted differently.

Mission Status, then, is more or less like the old Victory Status.

Help button btw now opens the Manual always in right context. Clicking at that Help button should take you to the correct manual page to explain it.

Thanks Crossroads. So it's just an intelligence estimate of enemy strength.
Does this just mean that the numbers when given may vary? Would a zero always mean zero or could there potentially be a small number of enemy tanks in this example?

It is a best effort, the twelve categories in display are not naturally supported within the game and the units there. The numbers should add up, but a unit may reported under a wrong category.

Edit Also, infantry is reported by a simple calculation of five men per strength point.

But if there is a - for Main Battle Tanks does this tell me there is no chance of any tanks or could the report be wrong and there may be a few? If it means there are definitely none I have too much information.

Consider it your GHQ intel briefing, it is not exact science, but should be if not there then at thereabouts at least. If they report no tanks, maybe there isn't. Or if they reoprt tanks, maybe they are something else. In some instance some of the tracked engineering equipment might be portrayed as tanks, iirc.

I know but if I'm told by GHQ that there are no tanks there might be (Arnhem). If the game is telling me there are no tanks I assume there really are no tanks. I shouldn't know this.
