I am missing a DLL in both games (cygwin1.dll)

I have tried reinstalling the games. No dice.

I went online and learned the valuable lesson that most sites will install everything but what you want,

I went to the Cygwin site and installed, again, apparently everything but what the game needs.

I crave good advice....
