Campaign series games conversion

Hi, has anyone ever tried to put all the files from West Front and East Front in Middle East format in order to play them with the middle east game engine ?
Unfortunately, the coding is different, so won't work.
You can replace the unit graphics, but you'll have to rename the graphics accordingly.
