Hello,

I can't change the resolution in the menu. The only one I can choose is 1920x1080, which is far far more than I want. Any idea ?

can you upload your report so i can see why it's not working as default?

Matrix

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

once the report has been made, just attach it to your post as it's a Txt file which is then permitted to attach to the forum.

steam or site version btw? thanks

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 405

Current Mode: 1280 x 720 (32 bit) (60Hz)
Monitor Name: Generic PnP Monitor
Monitor Model: LG TV
Monitor Id: GSM0001
Native Mode: 1360 x 768(p) (60.015Hz)

your monitor and video card res don't match, your drivers are 2010 so very old, same as your sound drivers,. if you update both and make sure your monitor and video card use the same settings, and desktop in windows etc, the game shouldn't cause you any issues apart from using shared Ram and not dedicated ram

Display Memory: 3793 MB
Dedicated Memory: 986 MB
Shared Memory: 2807 MB
Current Mode: 1280 x 720 (32 bit) (60Hz)

Memory: 6144MB RAM
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM:
OS: Windows 7/8/10
Processor: 2GHz processor
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: 1 GB DirectX 9 Compatible Graphics Card (2GB recommended)
DirectX: Version 9.0c
Storage: 4 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX Compatible Sound Card

well let us know how you get on, as tbh this one is low end, but hopefully will or should still work, but yes if you have a slightly better one, that will walk it, as always if it's steam or site version, running as admin and installing as admin gives and sets up the correct file permissions to run and work and install, online or offline, no matter what 3rd party software is installed, most of the time regarding firewalls and antivirus engines etc

So the menu only shows a single resolution? What happens if you open the OPTIONS.TXT file in Documents/My Games/CloseCombatTheBloodyFirst and set the REZX and REZY values to the resolution you want, then save, then start the game?

Cheers
