I wish you could give us, modders and dedicated players, a tool that will make our life way easier. Roght now there are some applications, which requiers some "magic" etc The .txt files are great that you can alter them in excel but anyway making your own BGs, changing squads etc is really a pain. And time consuming. I am not even saying about adding or changing grahics. But when it comes to make anew BG it takes tons of time. Well, I bet you know it already...
So my question is how do you do this. Have you got any tool? Or do you do it in excel also.
Why dont you make a tool? A tool build in the game. Now the editor is improved, but how about adding simple "-" and "+" at each squad so you can alter the quantity? Why cant a squad be "clickable" so once you click it, a new window pop ups so you can just drag and drop additional soldier or remove him? Why the BG name isnt clickable so once you click it, an another window will pop up so you can set the type of the BG, morale etc.
I think it is fairly easy to be implemented and it will make this game way more user friendly i believe. Other thinbgs like elements or weapons statistics can be left in .txt files as they are basicly static and onecan want ti change them only really rare.
