To start let me say I own and still play every other Close Combat. I had been waiting for years to see this expansion/version come out.
Good Things:
1) Graphics are awesome
2) The sound effects are the best yet.
3) It still is Close Combat, you didn't get away from the roots of the game.
Bad Things:
1) No campaign, I'm not much of a multiplayer person, but always loved replaying the campaigns. First as the good guys, then the bad, toying with the difficulty , ect. This game needs/needed a campaign.
2) The time limt on all the pre-made battles. Anyone that has been involved in urban warfare does not want 30 min to move a number of city blocks in a movement to contact mission.
3) Can't see Vicory Locations on the maps, I'm not sure if this is just a setting I'm missing, but I can't see the locations to shoot for.
4) Lack of morale meter. Unrealistically I want to duke it out till the end. I don't want my troops quitting, cause we were kicking butt and lost our armor support.
5) Lack of "difficulty" adjustment. In CC:Normandy it was about perfect in my opinion.
Overall I am having fun with the game, but I was very disappointed with no campaign, even a few maps tied together for a mini-campaign would have been cool.
Thank You
