NOT WORKING. Game loader launches out of steam but when you click play it crashes without so much as an error code. No tech support on steam which is disappointing. I would very much like to play CC3 The Russian Front so what is the fix?

Were you running the non-Steam version prior to purchasing on Steam?

Is there a folder Documents/My Games/CloseCombatCrossOfIron?

Negative, did not have a non-steam version prior. If I click on browse local files it goes to the steam folder so everything seems to be linked properly. Some people in forums have mentioned resolutions being a problem so I have messed with those to no avail.

We're investigating this issue. Please let me know what screen resolution you're using for your main display, and if you have multiple monitors or not. Thanks!

So you are on a system with dual monitors?

Can you please post the contents of the OPTIONS.TXT file in Documents/My Games/CloseCombatCrossOfIron.

Also, please try temporarily setting your system to use one display only, then see if Cross of Iron starts.

Additionally I have messed around with using the various compatibility modes to no avail.
I tried running only one monitor to no effect.

There are several people on Steam that are experiencing the same problem with the game not running as well.

You can not run it in a virtual machine.

I wouldn't buy this game on steam, they seem to charge quite a lot more than sites like GOG.
