TLD Outastanding Bugs

Here is a list of bugs still affecting players after the last patch; CC: The Longest Day Public Beta v5.50.14b tm.asp?m=3060832

Crash To Desktop
- 0:00 timer sometimes causes a crash
- Air support sometimes causes a crash; example report tm.asp?m=3187893
- morale break

A.I Assigning Support To BG's That Can Not Go Into Battle
- Support should only be assigned to BG's that are in Battle or could move into Battle. At times multiple support options are going to BG's that can never enter a battle: https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.a ... =%EF%BF%BD

Pegasus bridge does not allow vehicles to move on it
- problem started after the new path finding AI was implemented, discussion here tm.asp?m=2931150

Troops Do Not Move (usually Allied on beach)
- sometimes do not advance/attack/move until shot at; seems to have started after the last patch

Windows 8 requires Windowed Mode (can't run full screen)
- couple reports here tm.asp?m=3279021

Missing weapon graphics when a vehicle has a crew of two on the soldier screen

Disappearing gun - AI selecting impossible deployment location

AI Bad Gun Deployment

AI Accepts Truce When There Are Neutral VL's and It Holds No VL's

H2H Team Campaign: after both sides rested the map was divided in 3 vertical areas

Scenario Editor Allied Support shown in error

These bugs should be addressed as the crashes are extremely annoying (especially H2H when you have to re-fight battles) for the players that have bought TLD/WAR/LSA (PiTF? the last patch had an air support fix which may have resolved that issue) and for potential new buyers of the announced newer releases; Close Combat - Gateway to Caen and Close Combat – The Bloody First.

Matrix development should make eliminating the above bugs a priority before adding new features/selling new releases....

Thanks for the reminder. Issues / bugs will be evaluated next time there is an opportunity to work on these older games.

Any update Matrix on when these long outstanding bugs will be addressed???

Might be good to do that before asking people to buy a new CC engine with all new bugs as it will show them Matrix will fix./support the products it sells....

I do not have a date I can give you at this time. I would not expect any updates to older games until after The Bloody First is released.

Added this bug from the WAR support forum as it also impacts TLD.

Note: the TLD issues reported earlier in this thread are also in WAR (except Pegasus bridge as that is a specific map issue but the same issue could happen on any map with thin bridges in either game)

Any ETA?

It's good to see the devs are actually taking an interest in updating the game at all. I'm willing to wait. :)

Perhaps not, but I give them credit for at least replying and taking an interest in your findings...especially since it is an "older game". I don't remember anything of the sort with the original release...after a year they were released the dev team basically moved on to different projects.

With the GtC patch out now, which fixes some of the above CTD issues, when will there be another WAR/TLD patch?

Also this one, like LSA, this game is wonderful but deserves an update to fix these outstanding bugs. The loyal fanbase deserves it as well!
