So I have located the converted RSR mod! - I contacted DAK_Legion on Facabook and he had it! - Actually it was him and Southernland that converted it to TLD. - But it is not completely finished. I will do some more work to it and then upload it and provide a link to all.

I can't remember where the link was but it had to have been in a discussion either on this forum or over at the closecombatseries.net forum. I was doing a reinstall of close combat on a new computer a few weeks ago and was really combing through the forums for interesting stuff to try out.

Have done a lot with the mod the last days. The biggest thing was implementing the Strategic map and connections.
But its up and running in TLD now.

Any news on when it will be available for download?

Hi ccmac - thanks for the interest. The mod is well developed, but not quite ready for release. I have not had time to progress on it lately because Real Life business. Its hard to say for sure, but within 2 months it should be available for download.

Thanks for the comment Tejszd. The stratmap and arrows was not converted among other things. I will release the mod shortly without much updates from the original CC5 mod. There is just a few details left to do.

After that - I have a list of graphics and data improvements I would like to do to update it further. It will be the first modern mod for TLD and maybe later it can even be moved over to LSA.

The update is that all thats left to do is create some battles and operations.
I dont want to give a set date for release though.

Sorry for the delay, I have been in touch with SouthernLand the map maker to see if there was any chance of him making some new and updated maps for the mod. The mod itself could be released without the maps before Christmas.

Would love to have this as well, hopefully any news or updates? Really appreciate you guys getting this one working!

I can play in its current shape but you need to anticipate on encountering bugs.

And according to discord, RSR's final converting is planned to be an LSA version. Southern_land drew 64 new maps for it, which was of jaw-dropping quality. You will be able to see its Teaser images on CC Discord.

Edit: And the beta version that Pete uploaded designated LSA as the auto installation path in my case. You'll either have to manually change the installation directory, or you'll have to move the RSR folder of the LSA to the TLD after you've performed the installation as it is.
