Manual Errata

Post by lancer »

Hi,

There have been a number of changes since the game has been released.

You can find them here..

Manual Errata current to Beta 103

In general Errata changes relating to current Beta updates will be delayed somewhat until we are happy that they are bedded down.

Once a change has gone from Beta to Official any differences from the manual will be reflected in the Errata.

Cheers,
Cameron

Hi

I posted in vrdesigns site, but it may have passed under the radar.

The manual errata in pdf format in the documentations subfolder of the game is outdated (still version 1.01).

It would be nice if an updated pdf could be posted in this forum, too...

According to the manual (4.15), if you qualify for having a "Low" reconnaissance level, you automatically also qualify for the "Medium" level. So either the numbers are incorrect or the "Low" level is completely superfluous.

Hi Jonathon,

You've found a typo in the table.

None should be < 2 for both regimes.
Low should be 2- 40 Germans, 2-100 Soviets

I'll update the errata.

Cameron

A question on Soviet card: gain political power.
The manual says it's worth 30 PPs. In my current PBEM (historical setting off) it is 40.
What could bump it by 10pps? Was it changed at some stage in patches?
Thanks

Hi Kolyan,

Nope, WAD. The base cost of the card is 30 PP, as you've indicated, but it will increase with each use.

This applies to a lot of Soviet Cards. Design wise it's there to reflect the rigidity of the Soviet system (p 232 in the manual).

Well spotted.

I am on turn 5 and have not used this card so far.
However it is 40 from the beginning.
A glitch ?

Hi Kolyan,

I've double checked and you're correct, it's a 40 PP card with a fixed cost (it doesn't change). The Manual has it at 30 PP which needs errata.

I had my cards mixed up and somebody on the Steam forum (jmac) picked up on it.
