Using editor, can I add specific techs?

Using editor, can I add specific techs?

While using the editor can I add techs to an empire or am I only allowed to add them by level?

Say I want to add scanners and all the upgrades to an empire do I have to move the slider all the way to that lvl for them or can I pull only the ones I want?

All you can do is place the slider to a particular level and press the accept button.  The entire tree is set to that level.  I don't think there is a way of adding individual techs to an empire other than changing special techs in the "races text" file in a customization folder.

Also found out the tech slider is only a place setting for the accept button.  It does not reflect the actual tech levels of a race.

Elliot is already aware of this and said it will be fixed in the next patch

Elliot stated this was working as intended.  All he is going to do is place the slider on the starting position when opening the tech level window.
At least that is what he said in response to our Tech Support posting.  Then again, I may be misreading his response.
