How to Transfer Game to New Computer

How do I transfer this game to a new computer? Can't find the serial number anywhere.

Mine is in the file Universeserialreg.txt in the directory but I have a hard copy not steam.
Also, I've moved the whole game to other hard drives with no issue (cut or copy, paste) if you have a big enough USB do that maybe.

Thanks. I found the serial number in the same place as my game is also pre-Steam so I should be able to use that with a new download. I tried the external hard drive to move all of the files in the autorun directory but got serial number errors when running after initial spash screen. Did you just move hard drives or different computers? I'm also going from Win 7 to 10.
