Going to start a game of Legends to take you on a journey of what to expect.
I can't promise this will be finished but I can promise you a better preview of what is coming than you have seen before that will have regular updates up to release.

I've gone for a massive Galaxy, I prefer BIG galaxies to smaller crowded affairs.

I am the real leader of the Mortalens, Haree the Instigator, I will have many advisors but I will follow the path I believe will lead us to be the most powerful Empire in the Galaxy.

We are a proud race, it is important to us that we have the strongest veterans in all forms of war. We have little time for lesser races and shall assimilate all before us who do not prove worthy.

We have just begun our exploration in to space and our Monarchy is ready for the unexpected.

I have chosen to auto generate 19 other Empires out there.

I am going for default victory conditions as shown. I will include the story involved with the Return of the Shakturi.

As you can see Disasters, Events, Race specific events will all be included.

For victory we need a combination of the Territory + Population + Economy + our own Race Specific objectives all to meet 80% of those objectives overall.

And so it begins. Keep an eye out for more gorgeous ship images as we progress.

I like to play the leader who has advisors keeping an eye on their own issues and bringing their thoughts to me to approve or ignore.

This is our King, he isn't great at keeping everyone happy but he keeps everyone doing their job which pays for us in other ways.

We also have a troop general who is a bit of an unknown. We want to test him to find out his strength but we don't want to do it with anything risky.

We'll start off by building some Explorers to let us know what is out there before we make any decisions.

We have also begun construction of a Colony ship at our home world in the hope of extending ownership to other areas of the Galaxy.

We have heard reports of giant space faring creatures, our ships shall test their worth against one of their kind threatening our early attempts at mining.

Our explorers are built, lets see what is out here, this Galaxy is vast.

We have encountered another species, quite different to our own, they don't seem to like war as much, perhaps we can use that to our advantage.

They don't like us. Something about the way we eat our deformed young, weak beings.

In time hopefully they will understand us.

We are beginning to understand these large headed scaleless freaks and when they suggested we trade to increase our profits and ensure no resource shortages it seemed like a good idea until we are ready to take what is ours from their worlds.

The negotiations gave us an unexpected benefit.

We have recently learned these Kiadian's borders encroach upon our own, we are not happy, they will lay claim to our own space, we may need to increase our military presence. We wont be able to mine inside these borders without their permission...They are claiming we cannot even colonise those planets within their claimed border!

A new star has emerged from the Navy academies, this is great news, we have let him lead our 1st fleet, this is a proud moment for our Empire.

Here we see he has arrived at the fleet some time after the command.

relations with the Kiadans haven't deteriated yet so now would seem a good a time as any to clear out a little problem we've been having.
