Le Forge!: Questions regarding ship image files.

Yes yes so I've begun editing ship designs, cutting up and putting them back together for the right kind of ship 
Works fine and dandy, ship damage shows looks moves blinks just as it would If i never did a thing...but the engines, the engine effects do not show, I did no edit the color of the vessel in anyway,a and the blue lines indicating the engine effects are still there in the PNG. so my question is how do I remedy the situation? Deto is making ships from scratch and the engine effects show on his ships I use Adobe CS4 for the editing
