Entry of war of Scotland

When Scotland becomes playable, I get a message asking me to activate the AI for one of the opponent (I play as Parliament, so it must be the King's side.)
It has no effect on the game .

That message should only appear if you have been playing whit the other side in previous turn. So nothing related with the intervention of the Covenanters. [&:]

Its strange. I would need to replicate it, in any case is Pocus terrain. If you have a saved game...
