yes Deliberate...

I'm curious about the AH choppers, their stance currently says 'O' (on call). How's that work, can they stay that way and respond where they are needed?

They automatically go On Call if they don't have another mission. Some units do that.

Father's Day could interrupt the posting schedule today....we'll just have to see how it goes.

Hoping that the movement paths show up. The color contrast may not show up well here.

I like this better even though it's more work to show where everybody is going.

Each Platoon is color coded.

1st Platoon - Red
2nd Platoon - Orange
3rd Platoon - Light Blue
Helo Platoon - Yellow

Hey who ordered the helo group split up[;)]. with limited visibility[foggy] i was thinking sending them all in a spread formation ahead of the north group and split them when they reach the mid point between 7 and 8 ,[depending on what they encounter] one north, one south, one ahead.

Jack 54 wanted one helo to go north to see what they could see. I'm assuming he didn't want us driving into an ambush...not that I would do that to us...[X(]

The rivers can be crossed after a time delay. If all units are amphibious, that cross at that site, there will be no bridge created. If at least one unit that crosses is not amphibious the game will create a bridge there. Or we could order a bridge built and it will create one there.

They spot an engineer obstacle in the woods, on the road of our northern advance route.

Just to the west of the 50 Victory Point Location.

We have advanced far enough to capture our first Victory Points.

This same view shows that there are enemy forces of some kind in the area because they have claimed the 60 Victory Points in the upper left corner of the screen shot. It is a short 5km from our lead unit in a straight line to that enemy controlled Victory Location. (VL)

In fact we now have quite a bit of information about the battlefield.

We know that the enemy is employing engineering obstacles against us. The yellow X.

We know that they have captured two VL's and are in at least two of the areas we are trying to get our recon elements into. The green X's.

We also know that, at least for the moment, we don't have eyes on any enemy combat unit.

Good Hunting.

The biggest question is what can we actually see?

Here is the Northern Helo location and what he can see.

Northern Ground Recon lead element can see this far.

The engineer block on the road will cause a movement delay of approximately 30 minutes. Once our units pass over through it the block will be neutralized for all subsequent delay penalties.

Is there a change to my orders or are all units to continue with their originally stated orders?

god visibility sucks..... no change from me except recommending that the 2 recon choppers in the south swing north a bit[yellow arrow], the northern group is ahead of the southern group I want to see what's here first.

could you clear up the red arrows i.e. what they mean, the numbers.

I looked back at other threads, the numbers on the road are waypoints and the other is how well you can see that hex, higher the number the better visibility....this right.

I think we can bring the north helo back to help out the northern recon group. There doesn't seem to be much to my initial fears.
