Global Forest Change data

Among the data, a file with "treecover2000", which contains tree cover in year 2000, would be good for our purpose. "last" contains the Landsat image at 2014, that would bring more accurate and up-to-date info about forest, but it costs 2GB+ of disk space.
Map + data is in .tif format. This means that we can load the data in QGIS, and visualize the tree covers with contour lines or different colors. I didn't tested yet, but if I have a chance to try this data, I will post the result here.
