I have been through the tutorial scenario a couple of times.
I noticed that when giving the order to the challenger or the mech inf company to move forward (deliberate move), the HQ was taking the lead (mortars are also quite fast).
Is there any way to adjust the unit formation so a combat platoon will be on point?

I will go for the ETA delays.

Best move is using waypoint delays. You can look over the units and see when they should arrive at the destinations then slow down those you need by adding delay to the first waypoint.
