Technical Question about BoB

Hello all,

I bought a copy from Ebay of the old Talonsoft's Battle of Britain but unfortunately the game refuses to install under Windows XP. Gives a .dll error after executing setup.exe. Anyone got this to work and can give some advice ?

If not I got at least a printed manual in excellent condition and need to wait till Matrix re-release I guess.

Patch 1.5 and patch 1.65 worked for me.

search for the dll on the internet and install it....vista is also missing this dll

Can I use the patch files without having BoB installed already ?

No you must install bob first

Well, I got it installed by executing setup in win98 compatibility mode and simply ignoring the .dll error-message. I first had some stuttering while flying missions but after restarting BoB in compatibility mode as well, it all works fine and dandy now. Didn't even use a patch so far.

patch it !! there are too many bugs in BtR 1.0 and BoB 1.0
