Escort Delay

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Escort Delay

Post by Chris21wen »

Is this working?

In the pic I selected the first unit to fly at the same time as the bombers. I then selected the second to fly ten min after but clicking 'done' does nothing.

About to post another pic but the game has hung with buttons continually flashing???? Have to reload and recreate mission.

Think I've found the problem. Seems you have to select the delay then the unit. I was trying to do it the other way round.

You can also click on the map (think right click?) while adding escorts to adjust the sector you want the fighters to cover, as far as I know this effectively does the same thing and I find it much easier to map my coverage out that way vs trying to use the delays to guestimate the spacing of my fighters.

So basically set close or high escort and the altitude if high, select a fighter unit, then right click on the map to adjust that green band of where the fighters will be escorting.

Did see that anywhere. I'll try it.
