Wow i want you as my chief of staff [&o]. (While i grumble general directions on the map and let my subordinate translate this into orders).

Let me check the translation for this spreadsheet... it seems to be "HOLD YOUR POSITION AT ALL COSTS.".

That simply isn't possible, unless there is a bug.

There was a SEC unit in the marsh hex, below the No Attack Line, and it got pushed through the line right into the Tank Division. [&:]

Look at that hex again. It is above the line.

What is the red border meant to represent? The old Finnish border? Sorry I am still on vanilla map.

It appears to be the original Finnish Border ....

Ah - I would be interested - does that mean there is a red line for the original Rumanian border too? If so this map mod is interesting.

Does that also mean there is one hex north of the Finnish no move line which could, theoretically, spawn partisans?

T8 - August 14th, 1941 - SITREP

Psych0 is finally starting to slow down in both the Centre and the South. He has candidly admitted to me in comment that his fuel supply is holding on shoelaces, especially in the South.

Osinovets has fallen, so Leningrad is now officially and unirredeemably fucked. We will start evacuating the Sviritsa area to create a new line in the heavy woods between the Oyat and the Chagodosha River. [:(]

While they have reached the neighborhood of Moscow and tried to push in the North they have been unable to cross the MV Canal. Iksha is ZOC-converted but not occupied, I will sacrifice two screens to occupy them to prevent his panzers from spending less MPs moving in.

Kharkov is threatened, but there some good occasions for small counter-attacks there in both flanks around Lyubotin...

Stalino is stronk, but panzers have reached my southernmost flank on the Kalmius. Should I build a second line behind the Mius and make a stand there, hoping to bottle them there in the plains? However, the rear in the Ilovayskoe is quite vulnerable to cross the Mius there.

Stalino looks a bit scary, he might be preparing for an enveloping maneuver across Kalmius and Torets. The cities don't necessarily need that strong garrisons since they usually just get surrounded and starved to death :(

On Krim, the best fortified positions should be south of Armyansk and north of Dzhankoy, since those hexes have limited space to attack and enter from. If you hold before these positions, especially before fortifying them, you'll just get unnecessarily beaten back by attacks coming from multiple hexes. Romanians have trouble gathering enough CV to attack from a single hex against a well fortified position.

Just letting you know, guys. I have not abandoned this game. Real life has forced me to take a break because my schedule is too busy for the next two-three weeks.

Of course, psych0 was advised.
