A few screens to show the difference 12.03-4 makes for the Soviets. It's the last turn of mud, so Model is about to run amok again, but with 3 million Russian losses, the oob is a 4.6 million.

Left rail capacity on the default settings, and was able to save more than enough factories and industry than needed for rest of war. And Model advances fast- Lightning fast.

Maybe it would be good to edit the posts and check the "Embed picture in post" setting so that the screenshots show immediately without needing to download them.
Really good to see the changes working well. Those level 4 forts around Moscow look great!

Thanks, Bitburger! [and Model1950!] That is really nice to see - two veteran players slugging it out, and the front lines are very close to where they were historically. That suggests balance is pretty good. No more morale bugs mean Soviets can have some teeth by the end of the year, at least here and there.
I bet Model is feeling stretched thin - supply changes make things tough on the Axis once they get much further east than X=100 column. Axis air looks like it is struggling too from the loss totals. A very active and bitter air war between you two, it looks like?
I'll be interested to see how things look in 1942. The adjustments in manpower arrival might allow the Soviets to start the steamroller sometime in 1942? I know the new patches adjusted Soviet manpower so they get more per week in '41, then it tapers off as time passes, eventually going lower per turn than was received in v11.03. Red Army ends up with about the same net manpower over the course of the game. But, if they get too much too early, it might skew play in campaign games. Anyway, this all looks far better than 11.03 where a Soviet division would get one morale point per turn and could barely dig a foxhole.

Under patch 12+ it is easier than ever to save almost all the industry if you know what you are doing with current rail rules. I don't see industry starvation as a means to an end for the German player.
