What are they?
I remember reading this before, but cannot find it anywhere any more.
I seem to remember that there were two hexes on the Western edge of the map that had to be taken by the Soviets to have all (remaining) Axis units out of supply...
Help?
Anyone?

Magdeburg is one of them.

It was patched to have many more than two - the red dots below are some of them. Capturing them all is probably not a viable priority strategy now.

Thanks a lot, Telemecus!
Unfortunately I find your use of "...some of them..." confusing. Is there more than the dots on the map you supplied? If so, where can I get the full list? And/or are they in any way related to the RR leaving the Western edge of the map?
Even with the number being considerably bigger than 2 now, the knowledge still has its uses for the endspiel, ja?

There are indeed more than the ones shown on the screenshot above. There are for example two at least in Finland. And I did not check but may be more south of that screenshot. I included the settings above (F1 mode and show rail network) on maximum zoom out so you might be able to emulate that set up and see the red dots showing the permanent supply source on your own map?
Most do seem to be where the rail exits the map, but not all (e.g. Baku) so in some sense I think it is a hard coded selection.
For the Soviet Union there are only two permanent supply sources in the south - and one of them is Baku. So there are certainly possible strategies you can do there if you get far enough East. So you may find something interesting on the Axis side that you can do!

All clear, Telemecus!
And thanks again. Switching the RR on shows them supply entry/connection points on the map edges for your faction. Good show!
