congratulation by this new update.
this is an immersive work for the player to have the insignia of each unit of the game,in addition to being historically correct,thanks.

Red Lancer informed me the new 1st BR Armoured Division insignia present in the 1.6 version is incorrect, it wasn't created until 1982.

New addon version 1.6.1 replaces it with the old vanilla insignia. Downloadable in first post.

* Tactical Air Force (finally found in a photo of an old ashtray with the TAF insignia on it)
* 306th USAAF Level Bomber Group
* 482nd USAAF Level Bomber Group
* 709th US Tank Battalion
* 2nd through 5th US Ranger Battalions
* 69th US SP Field Artillery Battalion
* 67th US Coastal AA Battalion
* 167th US AAA Gun Battalion
* 20th US Combat Engineer Battalion
* 112th US Combat Engineer Battalion
* 146th US Combat Engineer Battalion
* 254th US Combat Engineer Battalion
* Engineer Rail Group MTO Service (US Engineer Corps insignia)
* Generic patch for many US AA Battalions (unable to find a distinctive unit insigna)
* Generic patch with battalion numeral for many US Combat Engineer Battalions (unable to find distinctive unit insignia)
* Generic patch for several US Engineer Ground Service Regiments (unable to find distinctive unit insignia)
* I Corps BR Royal Engineer Battalion
* de France FF Commando Battalion
* Group de Canonniers-Marins FF Artillery Battalion
* Groupe d'Afrique FF Commando Battalion

In total 71 insignias added. All units of the Allied 15th Army Group in the beginning of the Grand Campaign scenario now has an insignia, from the Army Group HQ down to every Battalion.

Hello all.

Updated to v1.8.

All US Combat Engineer Battalions have been added.
All other units have been removed from the addon since they are now part of the main game.

Update:

I have been able to find many more of the real US Combat Engineer Battalion insiginas. Currently working on them and will update this addon with real life replacements for several of the currently generic insignias asap.

Missing insignia for "504th US Parachute Regiment (+)" which is part of the Grand Campaign of the game. The normal 504th without the (+) exists in the vanilla game already. Same insignia.
