There is an announcement about a new patch arriving today but I don't see any mention of it here.

I can't get it to install...keep getting achive corrupt error. Even tried 2 different unzip programs.

Yes, we're working on an issue with the FTP download for the update, but it will be available shortly.

The file is corrupt and will not unzip.

The 1.058 setup installer does not work. It is corrupt. Still.

Also my serial no longer works, game says it is invalid.

Downloaded and installed with no problems for me. Game launches and plays with no problem on Windows 10.

Still corrupt for me, tried 2 different unzipping programs. One said "data error" the other [windows default] said it was empty. This was the installer not the update.

Game installer from MY PAGE on Matrix site is corrupt for me as well.
Patch opens fine.

Downloaded from My Page and also from the Matrix Games product page. Also tried from both servers in each case. Haven’t been able to unzip the 1.058 game installer. When I tried another zip app, it was “successful” but with a corrupt error. But since the unzipped .exe “looked normal”, I tried installing anyway but it was corrupt and did not work.

I don't understand. How is it possible the ZIP is corrupted for few people whereas it is working for me and other people?

To be clear, those of thus with issues are returning players trying to install the installer, not just the 1.58 update, which there is no problem with. Has anyone been successful in downloading the installer (basically a fresh install) and have it work?

Just tried it again from the North America server this time and it is still corrupt.

It looks like no one at Matrix is listening/reading so I guess I will move on.

I think there may be some confusion as others are pointing out: the corrupt file is the 1.058 game installer, NOT the 1.058 patch which is ok.

So those players who already have the game installed can easily use the 1.058 patch to update, but those of us returning players who need to install the game anew with the latest 1.058 installer cannot do so because that file is corrupt and will not install the game.

By the way, I downloaded the 1.058 installer (not the patch) from the Slitherine website and the same result: zip file is corrupt, game will not install.

Oh I see now. Yes I have installed the 1.058 patch not the installer. So the patch is fine but not the installer.
Understood now.

I haven't seen any official word from Matrix since Eric's last post saying all is well. Is Matrix monitoring this thread and realize the installer download is still broken?
