Old version will not uninstall

Hello!
I had the old version of 'Gary Grigsby's World at War: A World Divided' installed and am trying to install the new version. When I went to install it, it said that it needs to uninstall the old version so I let that complete, then restarted the computer. When I go to install the new version, I still get a screen that the old version needs to be uninstalled. I click the 'Uninstall' button and nothing happens.
I tried going to Control Panel | Programs and Features and the game is no longer in my list of installed programs.
Tried deleting the install directory via File Manager.
After a restart of the computer, still get that same screen that says that an old version needs to be uninstalled.

What is the installer seeing that makes it think that the program is still installed? Are there some reg keys that I need to go after?

Thanks for your help!

I just went back and installed the game again from the old installer and uninstalled it through Programs and Features.

Still, when I go to install the new one, I get the screen about the old version and the 'Uninstall' button seems to do nothing.

It was worth a try!

I also tried reinstalling the old program and uninstalling it using Revo Uninstaller and still get the same message when trying to install.

Also used Ccleaner to clean my system and registry, but still didnt solve the issue.

I don't know what to do. Did you try install with the old installer and then remove with the old installer without going through the Programs...

Perhaps email the problem at support@matrixgames.com.
