SGT Rice, could you edit the thread title the way I did it in this posting? Just not to confuse anyone who is playing which side.
By the way, I hope we're using the right GG scenario because I couldn't find any undeveloped resources.
Allies Summer '39
Not much to report, the Allies shuffle around and wait for the Axis' luck to run out. Not a single shot was fired.
The screenshot is just before Germany's move of Fall '39, hence the wrong date.

I noticed that as well; not sure what the problem is. I updated to v 1.020 and downloaded the updated wawgoldfrozen_gg mod file prior to starting the game.

Global Glory should have damaged resources in Iraq, Persia, and W USA. Fighter production should be 3 turns and bombers 5. And of course the advanced transport capacity rules.

There were definitely no damaged resources for the Allies. Advanced transport capacity was working though, not sure for the rest - I'll check again when I'm at home.
...maybe you'll have to test your luck again SGT Rice. [:'(] [:D]

Fighter production is 3 turns for everyone, heavy bombers take 5 turns except for Japan where it is 4 turns. Is that right for GG?
I'll create a new AWD installation and put the beta patch and GG on top in order to compare.

Okay, here's what I did:
- created a new installation of AWD
- patched directly to 1.200 beta
- overwrote \dat\wawgoldfrozen_gg.txt with the updated one (date 22-Jan-2008)
Upon starting I found
- fighter production at 3 turns for everyone
- heavy bombers at 4 turns for Japan, 5 turns for everyone else
- GG's transport capacity working (port proximity etc.)
- 2 "destroyed" resources in Iraq and 5 in the US
I'll write a PM to WanderingHead pointing to this thread and asking for directions. Since both SGT Rice and me are testing the unofficial .exe and GG version anyway, we could be using them if that is what Brian recommends.

Axis Summer 39 redux (part 1 of 2)
European Theatre - The German General Staff has spent the Summer of 1939 playing a wargame with the mysterious title 'AWD'. Having convinced themselves that a campaign against Poland would annihilate the entire Polish military with zero German casualties, the Wehrmacht invades. This time the Poles shoot back.

Allied High Command is a little disappointed that their strategy "let them start all over until their luck runs out!" doesn't work out.
For lack of other things to mention I'll repeat my statement from above:
Allies Summer '39

Screenshot of SE Asia this time though:

Allies Winter '40
Nothing new in the Far East, despite French protests the British forces leave France.
