Fast forward to Summer 1941 - Germany invaded Yugo, Greece in 1940, the Axis minors joined except for Hungary, which only at the expense of some Russian territory in Spring 1941 accepted the bribe.
Most notable was the failure to capture Leningrad in Spring (5 armor damaged there) and an increase in US WR each [:@] of the first 6 times a Uboat hit a trannie. Thus US production is at 2 and Japan's clock is ticking fast. Both Axis Uboats were immediately sunk after ASDIC was introduced. At least no more US WR increase possible [:(]
Most of Wallied units were in the Med theater even before Italy joined, adding the crawl in Russia the momentum seems to be fading.

Winter 1942 - Not having gone far in Russia, Germany moves its troops into Winter positions. The N.African bridgehead still held and Norway were reinforced to prevent further Allied advance. Japan slowly destroys the Chinese Infrastructure and prepares for the inevitable.

Winter 1943 - Besides the Russians invading Scandinavia, while Germany drove into Leningrad, not much happended in Russia. The force composition changes in favour of the Russians though. Italy went out of the war but was kept in the firing line after N. Italy was heavily reinforced to counter the Allied Army in S. Italy.
Japan sank 2 CVs in San Francisco Harbour despite Fighter and AA screens and scored two more off Central America, leaving the Allies with 2-3 CVs mostly busy in the Med theater. Australia is a battleground while India seems almost as laden with troops as Italy is..
So far the Axis has not surpassed 60 VPs and it does not seem that will change. The whole Barbarossa operation was a dud for reasons the High command is still analyzing...
