AI Slows Down when units.csv modded

AI Slows Down when units.csv modded

I noticed that when I change a few unit stats in the units.csv file that the AI dramatically slows down--sometimes 5 minutes or more.

Using latest 2.4.8 WW II version.

Any explanations?

I've changed a few stats here and there since the game released. Well, today was the day I got the dreaded AI bug during its turn. Had to use Task Manager to kill the game.

Will have to experiment more on why this is happening now. Certainly not the size of scenario. Using latest version that came with Finn DLC.

I still wonder why this is happening? Maybe I should submit a ticket!

Friend of mine who doesn't mod anything had this happen.

Started the Japanese Campaign, so will try to replicate mod and non-modded scenarios.

It depends on what you are changing I suppose, extreme changes may have an impact on AI/gameplay calculations.

Without more details on what has been modded this is impossible to answer though.

Real minor stuff - increased attack value on Satan tank and put it in the scenario. I know any mods, we are on our own. But slowdowns have been an ongoing issue here and on Steam.

I have typically modded attack values, defense values, and mp. Typically mod 3 to 5 units.
