Afrika Korps - Axis Surrenders issue

Hi, i seem to have encountered a bug at the end of Battleaxe scenario, i have captured all objectives and eliminated most but not all enemy units (some infrantry at bottom extreme of map) however im getting an 'Axis surrenders' screen when the turns run out. Any ideas what caused this or if there is a way to resolve the issue without restarting the mission? Im reluctant to start again in case i have the same problem.
