Further impressions (gaming after 60 mins)

Some brief notes:
-AI plays a good naval game. Submarine use again noted as good.
-Thought I'd be a wily human and catch the game off-guard with some unconventional choices for ww2 openers (like declaring war on Luxembourg and Belgium, and attacking into Germany early from France). Really nice to see how the AI seems able to handle it squarely and how the game mechanics punished this rather Nazi-esque aggressive defense with political consequences (in a believable way).
-GRAPHICAL ERROR - several game pieces disappear a few turns in, leaving only the unit bases with no other graphical representation, both friendly and enemy.
-As France/Poland, you "feel" the quality of the German opponent, again in a realistic way.
-As in the first couple of turns, the events are very interesting and provide good pacing. Now now longer sure that more info/statistical hand-holding would be a good idea gameplay-wise, but could be more inviting to rookie wargamers, new guests to the series.
-manageable in scope, but some tips would be good for a final to give a feeling of guidance and overview...taken together, the game elements can overwhelm somewhat, or you forget some areas while focusing on others
