Why can't the Axis build long range amph ?

German transport build limit defaults are:
Transports - 3
Amphibs - 2
LR Amphibs - 0

Italy's are 3,1,0 respectively.

Increasing levels of Logistics should increase these build limits by 1 per level, rule 1.23

I seem to recall making them for German special forces in my first game against the AI with the release version.

Checking now in a game I started against the AI where I have logistics 1, but buying LR Amphibs is greyed out. I have actually already taken London, just didn't bother with LR amphibs and didn't notice until checking.
I don't see mention of this change in any of the change logs.

Build limits for Amphibious units increases for each level of Amphibious Warfare research achieved.

LR amphib is now available to Germany, I got lvl 2 amphib and lvl 2 logistics the same turn. Didn't have it when I had level 1 in each, is that intended?

Got to lvl 1 in amph... still no LR amph though ??? Is this a bug ?

The display has now been fixed by Hubert. It should (I think) still be possible to use the Long Range Amphib when you have reached level 1, as my understanding is that it was just the display that was incorrect.

But the good news either way is that this is all now working as it should. [:)]

Correct, the display and the ability to use Long Range Amphibs as soon as you reach Level 1 for Amphibious Warfare is now corrected on my end and for the next build.
