help- crash

I'm playing as Axis against AI. At the beginning of 2nd turn I keep getting a message ..
Error..failed(on left button down)... then I'm thrown out and the introductory screen appears. I'm really looking forward to get this game going so any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks
