Client mismatch PBEM

My game version has been updated to 1.26 and I get a message that 1.25 is required to connect to the PBEM server and to 'upgrade'.

I suspect that it's a timing error.
I bet v1.26 was made available (perhaps too early, but I see it on the My Games/download page) and the server hasn't been caught up to it.
In general I prefer to wait for the board announcement of a new version, or at the very least the server informing me that I need to upgrade before getting it.

Sorry about the trouble, there is a small issue we are working quickly to fix, hopefully this will all be sorted out soon.

Thanks for fixing this - it all seems OK now. Steam updated me to 1.26 automatically. I could turn that off but I generally like it.

I am on Steam(Steam updated me automatically to 1.26), but I still got the same message:

Where there is light there is also shadow, a bug:
Hexes traversed by units are still shown as belonging to the enemy!

For me it's still not working. Downloaded the fix but now I get the following error message:
Could not find \v1.25.00\1939 Storm over Europe.dat
What now?

Did the same in WaW, there it's working well again, only not in WiE.

Had this also in previous patches. For me it worked renaming the existing folder e.g v1.24.00 to the missing one 1.25.00
Then skip the replay. I think the files stores the replay of the previous turn.

I get this when trying open an ongoing game
"Could not find \v1.25.00\1939 Storm over Europe.dat"
Another game also 1.25 is woring fine
Will this be fixed or can I do something?
