PBEM++ Connection Error: Client has not sent enough data

Hey,
I get an error immediately when I click the PBEM++ ONLINE button on the main menu, before any login window.

I have tried to reinstall etc. and I get same error every time.
ENV:
Windows 11 (ARM processor)
SCWW1 version: 1.14 (downloaded from Steam)
Empires in Turmoil DLC installed (I get the same error with or without the DLC)
Am I missing something?
