I am very new to play TOAW4, I checked manuel(7.14, p33) regarding DBR, there are explanations about white/red/black colors for range units.
but infantry isn't range units, why there are hexgons around it when I set "E" to the counter? but there isn't this hexgons when the counter is set with "D".
it's strange.

Looks like you've found a bug.

That looks like the setup - cease-fire stage at the beginning of the Anonymous Heroics scenario.
The introduction to the scenario states that it is a very old scenario and some things might not display correctly in TOAW 4.
Also I think it was specially designed for a head to head competition 20 or 30 years ago.
Try the Arracourt or Kasserine scenarios.
