Dividing units on the editor breaked the whole thing

Dividing units on the editor breaked the whole thing

Im creating a scenario and the moment after i divided a certain unit in 3 i could no longer make any adjustments for that side (Aka delete, copy, assign formation or whatever) is there a solution to this besides transfering everything except the divided unit into a new file? (Tried to remove but it was not sucesfull)

Recombine the divided units. Then finish the OOB. Then - last step - re-divide the units.
