OAofW ... sure, okay, nice list of scenarios ... GoodWood and etc.

wow, what a 1998 interface.
wow, such a 1996 menu structure. (I do MilSpec tech_docs for such as avionics R&D, so ... just step off. okay?)

Wow, what a clumsy movement and scale!

so I came here.
logged in.
finally found the forum.
Oh, needed to log in again.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh! Right! Matrix!

I just turned 70. I had forgotten why I avoided this entire brand.

HeyHo, 50% off ... and living on a small pension, I can always throw dollars away here and there, right.

p.s. no apologies. this is really a crappy piece of work. nice design ... maybe it deserves to be completed? by folk who care a bit?

I just turned 70 too and I er...... Ok I need to get one of those faster stairlifts so I can be upstairs before I've forgotten why I wanted to go upstairs.

Oh yes. I went up to dust off and try out my copy of TOAW "A Century Of Warfare"

I love the interface and it plays so much quicker than TOAW 3 and 4.

Who needs the advanced rules anyway.

There's an old engineering adage that I'll paraphrase: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

We could have squandered our tiny development budget on the UI - and did p*ss away quite a bit on just that. But my philosophy is that our tiny budget is better spent on things that actually impact game mechanics. The UI is still servicable.

TOAW is still one of the greatest operational games of all! Any plans for a version 5?
