I am a relativelly new player and have only played multiplayer with a friend of mine who has even less experience.
Im trying to learn and am up for basically any scenario that is ww2 or later, im a bit hesitant toward 600+ unit matches but im open minded.

You might like some of the early NATO-WP scenes,
some of those are very new user friendly.

I too am very new to this game. I think I would be a good match for you, it's really the first "hex and counter" wargame I have ever tried. I think at this level, you actually learn more from a MP match, as your opponent can often make similar errors, and it gives you opportunities.
