I'm sorry to be the usual pain the ***, but I have a big issue with versione 1.0.81.

I downloaded the .ZIP file and unzipped it in a folder I use to keep all TOTH-related files.
Then I double-clicked on the TigersOnTheHunt-UpdateComp-v1.0.81.exe file.
Apparently, everything went fine: I clicked on the TOTH icon on the Desktop and the main menu appeared, but:
the "Play Game" and "Editor" buttons have no effect: the main menu disappears, then re-appears after 30 seconds
the "Manual", "Check for Updates" and "Forum" buttons work as intended.

I am certain I have made some mistake during the installation process, but I have been unable to discover where I was wrong. Can somebody please explain me some way to correct this ugly situation?

Same for me, I reinstalled the original game, added the update and the game does not start, it always comes back to autorun page which I report is still in version 1.0.[&:]
Fortunately I did not do the same thing on my second PC.[8D]

are you guys running the game/editor for the matrix games application or do you directly click on the game and/or editor exe ?

I just tested it, the update works fine for me on the test machine. I have downloaded the patch, run the setup, it automatically detected the game installed directory and serial key...and everything got installed. I then just run the game/editor directly without any issues.

I utilized the launch menu's update feature. After updating, launching the game or the editor just drops back to the menus. Also, the first time each ran I got a dialog saying they crashed. Running directly from Program Files does nothing as well.

If I launch the game from the game menu (image below), it does not start and the game menu screen re-appears aftere a few seconds. The same also happens if I click on "Editor" or "Tutorials".

If I launch the game from the desktop icon linked to the game executable, or by directly double-clicking on the executable file within the TOTH folder, the HD light blinks, but nothing else happens.

The Manual is the v.1.0.81 version, since it includes the new appendices describing the new features.

Should I place the update file in the "Patches" sub-folder of the TOTH folder before launching it?

I'm not sure what's wrong, I would recommend reinstalling TotH and Kursk and then manually update the game using the UPDATE4 patch.

1-Someone has did a good installation with this new update?

follow the instructions[:D]

install your game and verify before you have always your game KEY!

Yes I installed without any issue Windows 7 64bit. Deleted my old shortcut on desktop, then shortcut to my desktop the application in the game folder "autorun.exe". All seems to run fine!

Zakblood, my deepest felt thanks for your effort, but unfortunately the final result didn't change.

I uninstalled TOTH, then I exactly followed every step of your tutorial. Everything went fine, exactly as shown in your screenshots up to step #24 (included).

When I try launching the game from the new, just installed icon on the desktop, however, the game menu screen disappears, the game does not start and the menu screen returns.

I am running TOTH on Windows 7 64-bit Home. Can this be the cause of this issue?
