All three titles bought in the sale

Happy New Year!

I've updated the base game to the latest version but the DLC asks for two different earlier versions, ie. one for Kursk and one for Normandy respectively.

I assume I've done something in an incorrect fashion, any advice will be gratefully received.

I would reinstall the game again like this.

Install base game and upgrade the game

Then install Kursk and after that Normandy

I would then install the beta patch, which is fully supported by the game http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/fb.asp?m=4504508

get back to us if it doesn't work

Dear Paullus, thank you for the speedy reply.

I uninstalled, reinstalled, then restarted my pc. The game updated once, then tries to update again to v-1.1.09 but hangs for a while and says "an error occurred while trying to open the ftp file".

Yesterday, once I hit that point I went to beta v1.21 which allowed me to play in full screen and all of the base game, yet the dlc ask for v-1.0.56 or some such thing.

I looked in vain (or blindly) for older updates but I couldn't see them at all.

Apologies if they are under my nose....

You have done the correct things but the Game needs Update 5 to fully work before beta v.1.21. It looks like there is a problem with the Matrix server so you need to get in contact with Matrix support.
I would try one thing before though. Check disabling any Antivirus software when doing the update through the Game Panel

I use Malwarebytes free version so I don't have an active AV but I'm surprised there isn't a register here of the historical updates for manual dl if the game panel is faulty. Oh well, never mind.... I'll try turning off whatever windows AV I have and see if that makes a difference.

This is strange so I would click on Support at the top of this page and follow the Help & Support way.
Let us know how it turns out
